Redwood removal

After getting the call from a contractor that uses us for their tree needs we were called in for the removal of this large Redwood in Surrey that needed removing prior to the house to be knocked down ready for development. The tree in the past had been struck by lightning but had continued to live on. The client was to remain living in the house below so we rigged most of the branches off to not cause and damage to the property.

Some years later we were called back to stump grind the stump measuring 14ft from grass to grass. The spec was to grind anything larger than 150mm in diameter so that the construction company could deal with the rest. The Carlton 7015 trx and Bob Cat made light work of the job and completed it in time for developer to start with ground work.
